Put your cowboy boots and hats on and show your support for “The Cowboy Capital of the World” as Oakdale will be celebrating the 7th Annual National Day of the American Cowboy at the Oakdale Cowboy Museum on Saturday, July 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Activities will focus on the ranching cowboy. An authentic ranch “chuck wagon” will be set up along with a dummy steer to rope. Adults and children will be able to design and take home their own brand.

The Oakdale Cowboy Museum is located at 355 East F Street and there is no cost for the event.

Look for the full story and photos from the event in the July 27 edition of The Leader.
