On the evening of Thursday, Oct. 13, the Oakdale Chamber hosted another Pours in Stores to send support and customers to all the small businesses that line First, Second, and Third streets.

This time community members scanned a QR code at each location and entered their ticket number for a chance to win a prize from each stop. Each store had their own themed prize and ranged from a mini smoker from the Hearth of Oakdale, a handbag and wallet from Subli Creations, and a gift card for a shopping spree from MadMack Boutique.

The event began its check in at Bordona’s where homemade sangria and a cheese and cracker tray were passed out before attendees began their route to the next business.

Each person got a map of the businesses participating and got the chance to visit some if not all, and check out their stores while partaking in a drink and light snack.

The drinks ranged from margaritas, beer, juice, champagne, wine, cider, seltzers, and water.

Each store put their own spin on the treats offered creating a new surprise to every stop.
