There was plenty to look at and purchase on Saturday, April 20 as the Oakdale Garden Club opened its gates and welcomed in shoppers ready to get the garden growing this spring. The eager crowd was there in force for the 9 a.m. opening and the sale featured a variety of vegetables, herbs, flowers and potted plants as well as some garden art, planters, birdhouses and more. Information was also offered about the garden itself and renting a spot at the East A Street site.
