Kenneth “Kenny” Ockey passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024.

Kenny was born in Oakdale to Wallace and Eulah Ockey. He attended Milnes and Oakdale Schools, before serving in the US Navy.

Kenny returned home from the service and married Leota Price. From this union, there were three sons: Troy, Daryn and Ryan.

He worked at Hunt-Wesson for 35 years before retiring.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf. Kenny was a member of the Oakdale Country Club throughout his retirement. He was a member of the Bandits team that won the championship at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

He is survived by his three sons, six grandchildren: Colton Ockey (Troy); Sienna Ockey Guerrero and Sheridan Ockey (Daryn) and Shay, Taylor and Christian Ockey (Ryan). He is also survived by his second wife, Roxanne.

Celebration of Life will be celebrated on Saturday, May 11, 2024, 11 a.m. at the Living Hope Church, 10055 Valley Home Road, Oakdale, CA 95361.
