When all the points were tallied, it was a victory once again for Oakdale High School athletes, as they earned the coveted Antinetti Cup, topping all other Valley Oak League schools.
“Oakdale High won The Norm Antinetti Cup for the fifth straight year, said Athletic Director Dave Bacigalupi. “The VOL started it five years ago, so we have won it every year.”
In the fall 2025 season, Oakdale had 50 points across its fall squads to lead all VOL schools, Sierra was second with 36. The Mustangs added 24 points for the winter season and then scored 54 points in the spring. That gave them a total of 128 points for the school year, far outdistancing second place Sierra, which came in at 102.
The 54 points in the spring was also the most among the VOL schools, with Sierra once again second with 43. Oakdale’s 24 winter points was third behind the 28 points for Central Catholic and East Union, 25 for Manteca and Patterson.
After first place Oakdale with 128 total points and Sierra in second with 102, the rest of the VOL schools and points were: Mountain House, 91; Central Catholic, 88; East Union and Manteca, 87; Patterson, 75.
