The 2026 season recently came to an end through the OBSA, Oakdale Baseball-Softball Association, with the crowning of league champions across the various age divisions.
Following is the list of the championship teams, with information provided by OBSA officials.
8u Softball: The champion Lady Colts went 14-0 for the season and head coach was Andrew McDonald.
10u Softball: With head coach Joey Norwood leading the team, the Storm compiled a record of 12-2 this season to win the championship in their division.
12/14u Softball: Capturing the championship was Riverbank Team Perez, with a record of 12-1-2.
Rookie American Baseball 7u: It was an 11-4 record for the Marlins, under the direction of head coach Chris Vanderveen.
Rookie National Baseball 8u: Serving as head coach for a second team, Chris Vanderveen guided the Marlins to a championship with a record of 13-1-1.
Minors Baseball 10u: The A’s emerged as the champions, going 11-1-2 this season, under head coach Cole Fainter.
Majors Baseball 12u: The Red Sox went 8-6 and were champions, under the guidance of head coach Madison Sorensen.
Babe Ruth Baseball 14u: Putting together an 11-1-1 record, it was the Phillies and head coach Will Higgins winning the championship this season.
