Annual Edible Extravaganza marks 40th anniversary
Edible 7-22

Center for Human Services, CHS, along with presenting sponsors Beard Land Improvement Co. and Modesto and Empire Traction Co., will present the 40th Annual Edible Extravaganza in September.

As the Central Valley’s most anticipated food and beverage show featuring over 50 local vendors, this landmark year introduces an elegant ruby theme inspired by the traditional 40th anniversary milestone. Attendees can expect an opulent, celebratory atmosphere filled with rich red accents, dazzling lights, and vibrant community energy. The 40th Edible Extravaganza is set for Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Modesto Centre Plaza in Downtown Modesto.

VIP Admission begins at 5 p.m., followed by General Admission at 6 p.m.

This year’s vendors include Atrium, Track 424 Brewery, Phoenix BBQ, Red Robin, Greens on 10th, The Wine Group, and more.

There will also be live music and dancing, with performances by local artists including US4LOVE, The Vibes, and a curated music setting for the VIP room; accessible only with the purchase of $125 VIP tickets.

With support from presenting sponsor, Beard Land Improvement Co. and Modesto and Empire Traction Co. , and underwriting sponsors Save Mart Supermarkets, Oak Valley Community Bank, Health Plan of San Joaquin, Gallagher, and Cumulus Media Group, this year’s event will feature the best of the region’s culinary talent, food, wine, and desserts.

Every sponsorship and ticket purchased directly contributes to CHS’s ongoing mission. More than just a food and beverage showcase, this milestone event serves as a vital engine for CHS’s core mission: changing lives, building futures, and providing critical programs that strengthen and support local youth and families. It is a celebration of connection, community resilience, and the lasting impact CHS creates every day.

Tickets go on sale Aug. 3. General admission tickets are $70, or $80 at the door, while supplies last. VIP tickets are $125. Because this signature event has historically sold out weeks in advance, attendees are encouraged to secure their admission early once sales open.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.edibleextravaganza.com.
