Children enjoyed making crafts at the MJC Great Valley Museum booth, one of the many hands on activities offered at the weekend Salmon Festival.

The annual Knights Ferry Salmon Festival was staged in the small hamlet on Saturday, with attendees enjoying sunny skies, unseasonably warm temperatures and plenty to see and do at the Nov. 9 festivities.

A cooperative effort among multiple local service groups, clubs and organizations, the day featured crafts, activities, music, food, presentations, a study of salmon and more. The free family-friendly event was well attended again this year.
