The second week of Valley Oak League action will see the Mustangs (3-1, 1-0) travel to Stockton to take on Weston Ranch (1-3, 0-1) Friday night, Sept. 29. Oakdale’s quest for a Valley Oak League title began with a 42-6 road win over East Union this past Friday. Last season Oakdale defeated Weston Ranch 39-14 inside The Corral.

Weston Ranch is coming off a 36-18 road loss to Lathrop. Weston Ranch has a trio of speedy receivers in Larry Fairbanks, Fletcher Pitts and Cori Floyd along with a capable quarterback in Amier Bowen.

This game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff following the conclusion of the junior varsity game. Weston Ranch High School is at 4606 McCuen Ave., Stockton.
