City Puts Bite On Unlicensed Dogs
The City of Oakdale is working on bringing thousands of dogs into compliance – by requiring their owners to license them. Oakdale police officers are knocking on doors to educate people and issue citations to those who haven’t licensed Fido.
Between Oakdale and Riverbank, the percentage of licensed pooches is far below the national average. The licensing will help address over population and increasing euthanasia rates at the animal shelters and raise money for the city as well.
