Oakdale Football Dinner
OHS Mustangs

With football players reporting for practice and their first game slated for Friday, Aug. 26 at Sonora, the team is hosting its annual Oakdale Football Fundraiser and Dinner on Saturday night, Aug. 13. The dinner will be staged at varsity linebackers coach Josh Yarbrough’s home on Crow Road. This year’s event will be served and catered by Mike’s Branding Iron BBQ and include a chicken and steak meal for attendees. The event will also have a no host bar and the dinner is sponsored each year by the Oakdale Quarterback Club.

Along with dinner, there will be raffles for a variety of items including an engraved Weatherby 12-gauge shotgun from Fred’s Firearms, various trips and gifts from donors all supporting the Mustangs football program. Pete Simoncini, the official ‘Voice of the Mustangs,’ will be serving as master of ceremonies for the festivities that begin at 6 p.m.
