Dear Editor,

Thank you, Andrea Goodwin, for the recent informative article in The Oakdale Leader concerning the fate of the Stanislaus County Libraries. As you pointed out, voters in our county will decide on June 5 whether or not they want to maintain a vibrant library system for five more years by renewing the dedicated (to the library) one-eighth cent sales tax.
As the Oakdale area coordinator for Measure T, Save Stanislaus Libraries, I urge library supporters to get involved in the campaign by volunteering to staff information tables, phone voters, walk precincts, attend events, and/or donate to the campaign. This can be done easily by going online to www.savestanislauslibraries.com and clicking on the Get Involved button.

Together we can Save Stanislaus Libraries without raising taxes.

Sincerely,
Sharon Arpoika
Oakdale Area Coordinator, Measure T
