She is predeceased by her parents Tony and Ruby Anglin.

She has gained her wings and is with her Mom now. Sandy was only 14 when Mom died so she lived with her sister Gloria and her husband, John James primarily but with all of her siblings at one time or another.

She attended Cardozo Elementary and graduated from Riverbank High in 1984. She also went to MJC for several years.

She had a number of secretarial jobs, but her favorite was taking care of her nieces and nephews. Her nephew Raymond called her Nini since he could not pronounce her name. But being Nanny to her great niece and nephews, Rex, Sebastian and Bibi were her most favorite. She loved them all so much.

About nine years ago she became ill with Melanoma. She fought so hard to keep going. She was able to have one good summer when she was able to take an amazing trip to Florida with her childhood best friend, Maria.

Sandy is survived by: Gloria and John James of Riverbank, Tony and Sandy Anglin of Waterford, Quadean McCullah of Riverbank, Kay and Adam Perez of Riverbank, GayNell Lial of Oregon, Joyce and Larry Roddenborn of Nevada, Bobbi and Steve Overall of Hawaii, as well as 36 nieces and nephews.

Memorial for Sandy will be held on December 2, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church, 3126 Stanislaus St., Riverbank, CA, 95367.
