Peter Vincent Vann, 57, of Modesto, died Sunday, October 30, 2022, in his sleep.

He was born to Albert and Rosalie Vann in Ferndale, Michigan. After residing in Warren, MI, the family moved to Saratoga, CA, in 1967. As a child, he participated in Indian Guides and played AYSO Soccer. Peter graduated from Lynbrook High School in 1983 where he played drums in band and excelled in academics.

Peter’s greatest love was drumming. He pursued a degree in Music, but ultimately graduated from San Jose State with a degree in Marketing. Peter played in a number of local bands including Finger Café, The Gathering, and One World. He loved Reggae, Rock ‘n Roll, and Jazz. Besides music, Peter found employment in a number of areas: building and designing websites, marketing food and specialty items, and landscaping private gardens. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. Peter was an entrepreneur, putting his heart and soul into each venture. He had a great sense of humor and embraced life, enthusiastically pursuing a wide range of interests, and was always ready to lend a helping hand.

Peter is survived by his mother, Rosalie Vann, and siblings, Diane (Cliff) Korupp, Richard (Melanie) Vann, Marianne Vann Philipp, and three nieces and four nephews who he cherished. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Vann.

A private service is being held. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association and ACSOL.
