Elvira A. ‘Vera’ Migliore, 86, of Pleasanton died peacefully on Sunday, May 3 at the Bruns House Hospice in Alamo.
She was born in San Leandro. She lived in Oakland, Castro Valley, Oakdale and Pleasanton.
She lived a wonderful life until stricken with Alzheimer’s.
Mrs. Migliore was a homemaker who was devoted to her family. She enjoyed nothing better than cooking Sunday and holiday dinners for her beloved family. Her favorite recreation was going out for burgers and to the movies with her husband.
She will be so missed and never forgotten.
She is survived by her three sons, Steve, Richard (Fran) and Greg (Gail); three loving grandchildren, Susan, Shirley, Jeffrey; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Benjamin; brother, Albert; and sisters, Vincentina and Amelia.
A funeral was held May 7.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrances be made to the Bruns House Hospice, 2849 Miranda Ave., Alamo, CA 94507.
