Betty May Willms, 85, died Sunday, April 26 at her home.
She was born in Angels Camp to Lester and Opal Raggio. She spent most of her childhood living in Knights Ferry. After high school, she left for San Francisco to attend Dental Nurses Training School. She worked there until returning to Oakdale to marry Clayton Willms.
Mrs. Willms was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a thoughtful person with a sweet smile for everyone she met. She enjoyed her flower gardens and sewing clothes. She and her husband were avid travelers, flying and cruising to many far away locations.
She is survived by her daughter, Fay (Terry) Prichard of Farmington; sister, Leslie Kappler of San Leandro; and two grandchildren, Nicholas and Lauren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Clayton; and her brother, Richard Raggio.
A graveside service was held at Oakdale Citizens Cemetery on May 1.
