Virtual Info Session For Military Academy Nominations
military

On Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) will host an information session to assist students interested in attending a military academy. Applications are due on Oct. 31, but Rep. Harder encourages students to attend the info session and apply early. Every academy besides the U.S. Coast Guard Academy requires a Congressional nomination. This year’s event will happen remotely to comply with social distance requirements.

The U.S. Service Academy Information Night will provide information for high schoolers interested in applying to the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, or U.S. Coast Guard Academy.

Interested students and parents can register for the event at: https://bit.ly/2XScHI6

Rep. Harder opened nomination applications in May and encourages all students interested in pursuing the military academy to apply. Students at any stage of exploring military academy options are welcome to attend the upcoming information session with their families to ask questions and learn more about the academy experience and application process. Students who decide to apply can use the application portal on Rep. Harder’s website to submit their materials.
