Old Time Silent Movie fans are eagerly awaiting the showing on next Sunday, May 19th of the Silent Comedies, "One A-M" with Charlie Chaplin and "Double Whoopee" with Laurel and Hardy. Enjoy a Sunday afternoon of silent comedy at its best and top it off with an afternoon of terrific musical accompaniment on the church organ provided by the talented fingers of Dave Moreno. Enjoy a step back to the days of Vaudeville with the singing talent provided by Matias Bombal. You ask how could one ask for anything more? How about a dish of free homemade ice cream following the show. What could be even better is a dish of fresh homemade pie topped with the ice cream which is offered at the price of $3.00? What a nice way to end the afternoon with delicious dessert and the company of friends and neighbors!

An afternoon spent with uplifting comedy with Valley Home friends and neighbors, wonderful dessert and all offered with a voluntary monetary donation by attendees to fund the Church projects. Oh, I almost forgot, if you would like to take home a 5 inch Rhubarb-Strawberry or Apricot deep dish pie you may call Lois Hoffmann at 847-0733, to order now. The cost is $7.50 each.
