Valley Home News 4-14-21

It is exciting to see our Valley Home 4-H able to participate in drive in meetings once again! This month, April, and the month of May the monthly club meetings will both be drive in meetings at the Chrisman Ranch. Valley Home 4-H members are asked to please wear their green 4-H shirts if they have them. The club is purchasing a microphone to be used at meetings. Our club is having two great fundraisers right now ... members are selling awesome Mountain Mikes Pizza coupon books, please consider supporting Valley Home 4-H by purchasing one of these bargain filled coupon books from any member! Another current fundraiser for our club is our Face Book On Line Live Auction. The Auction has amazing items up for bid; to participate please use the link https://fb.me/e/ONTdplmf and for more information on our club fundraisers please contact Julie Beth Lamb. Thank you! We would like to send a special note of appreciation to this year’s 2020-2021 club officers: President Callie Chrisman, Vice President Ben Fletcher, Secretary Morgan Edgar, Treasurer Walter Bynum, and Sergeant at Arms Cooper Bartholomew. We are so proud and thankful for each of our Valley Home 4-H members, officers and our dedicated leaders. We send a huge Thank You to Miss Callie Chrisman who also serves in Hi-4-H and is a dedicated 4-H Ambassador. Callie, you are AWESOME! At our April meeting, plans will be made for our ‘end of year’ potluck to be held after our June meeting. Members, please think about signing up to be on the nominating committee for next year’s officers and members especially think about running for an officer position. Your participation helps build a strong Club. Remember the Stanislaus County Fair Large and Small Animal Livestock Show is planned for July 9-18, 2021!

Sheriff, Fire, CHP, Stanislaus County, School, Park and others will be giving reports. We will also be introducing our Stanislaus County Supervisor Buck Condit.
