‘Rising Warriors’ Event

Stanislaus State announced on March 16, 2020, that it would temporarily shift to predominately virtual operations, with most students, faculty and staff learning and working from home, and a few critical operations and programs continuing on campus. The campus community is invited to remember that day, and all the days that followed, at “Rising Warriors: A Celebration of Resiliency, Perseverance and Healing,” from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 23 at the Student Center Warrior Lawn.

 

Stockton Campus Forum

Hear the latest campus facilities updates, learn about the Community Equity Research Center and how we are partnering with Stockton and the San Joaquin County community. The event, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, will be livestreamed.

 

Top 10 Rankings

Stanislaus State continues to earn regional and national accolades for its academic programs and affordability. EDsmart is the most recent organization to include the University in its rankings: No. 1 Best Accelerated Nursing and BSN programs in the nation and No. 4 of the Best West Coast Colleges.

 

$1.4 Million Award

Stanislaus State is partnering with UC Merced on a $1.4 million project to train students as tobacco control advocates in an effort to end tobacco use in the state by 2035.

 

Cross Cultural Center

The Warrior Cross Cultural Center’s Diversity Speaker Series at Stan State will host its third speaker, playwright and director Luis Valdez on Thursday, March 24.
