Mark the calendar for Saturday, May 2 and get ready to enjoy the first Oakdale Morning Market of 2026.

Hosted weekly in the heart of the downtown area, situated around North Third Avenue, the market will run each Saturday from May 2 through Sept. 26.

The season opener will feature Artist in Residence Lindsey Wetenkamp, musician Matt Davis, featured non-profit Oakdale Rotary Club, and the Kids Corner hosted by House of Tykes Preschool. Oak Valley Hospital District is serving as the market partner for opening day; Oak Valley Community Bank is the music sponsor.

Scheduled from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. each Saturday, the Oakdale Morning Market is a project of Love Oakdale; Roxanne Simons is the market manager.

Along with multiple food and beverage vendors, there are a number of fresh produce options, specialty merchandise and unique finds.

“We wanted to create a time and place for our community to come together, to meet old friends and make new ones. We envisioned people gathering and hoped they would linger. We are thrilled that The Market has become just that,” organizers said in promoting the opening day.

Local farmers, small business owners and young entrepreneurs all have a place at the market and downtown shops are open as well, encouraging visitors to the morning market to also stop in and check out the wide variety of unique items they have to offer.
