Booths were set up in downtown Riverbank for the fifth annual Somar Cultural Music Festival on Saturday, April 25, with food, beverages, merchandise and cool treats among the offerings. There were also classic cars on display and live music on stage. The Somar Youth Project is a non-profit which works to improve access for local youths to get involved in music and sports. The event also included the opportunity to learn to play chess, a health fair, games and prizes for kids, with all the action set up around Third and Santa Fe streets.
