DOWNTOWN MERRIMENT
dt 3

Downtown Oakdale understood the assignment as people brought the Christmas spirit to the annual Downtown Christmas event on Saturday, Dec. 4 with an unprecedented number of attendees and a plethora of craft booths, food options, and entertainment to keep people bustling at the holiday street fair.

Pictured, a holiday booth exhibitor with tasty coffee gift items for the person on your gift list with a discerning palate and another with colorful, handcrafted Christmas items. Adding to the holiday ambiance, OHS drama and show choir teacher, Mr. Mills, brought his Christmas carolers, encouraging the crowd to join into the festive fun. And after the sun went down, the Christmas parade started at the FES Hall and ended at North Second Avenue, lighting up the misty night with twinkly lights and setting the festive mood with plenty of holiday cheer.
