Another fun community event is on the schedule in the City of Action, scheduled for Saturday, May 16.
“Join us for a day of fun at Kite Day,” urged Love Riverbank City Leader Sammi Martinez.
The event is being hosted cooperatively by Love Riverbank and the Riverbank Federated Women’s Club, as part of the ongoing Love Our Neighbors program for the community.
All are encouraged to bring family and friends to Silva Park on Saturday, May 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a gathering full of color, creativity, and community. The park is at 5800 Antique Rose Way in Riverbank.
Kite Day is open to all ages and there is no registration needed. Those attending can bring their own kite or make one with the program hosts onsite. Plus, attendees will also enjoy activities like Kindness Rock Painting and more.
“Let’s come together, enjoy the outdoors, and make memories as a community,” Martinez said.
