A boy, Steven John Joseph Fenton, was born Nov. 27, 2010 to expectant parents Steven and Amanda Fenton of Escalon. The newborn weighed eight pounds, one ounce upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

The mother is the former Amanda Gwartney.

Welcoming the newcomer home was older sibling Kylie Fenton.

Larry and Nora Gwartney of Escalon are the maternal grandparents.

Steve and Kim Fenton of Oakdale are paternal grandparents.
