A girl, Mhia Garcia, was born July 25, 2009 to expectant parents Arturo Garcia and Johana Quintana of Oakdale. The newborn weighed six pounds, 13 ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.
Mariano Quintana and Luz Elena Medina of Knights Ferry are the maternal grandparents.
Norma Lopez and Manuel Garcia of Mexico are the paternal grandparents.
