Shane and Erika Bua of Escalon welcomed the arrival of their daughter, Kira Christine Bua, on Sept. 13, 2013 at Memorial Hospital.

The newborn weighed in at six pounds, nine ounces on arrival. She was welcomed home by big sister Tiersy Grace Bua.

The mother is the former Erika Dugo.

Maternal grandparents are Andy and Rose Ann Dugo of Escalon.

Paternal grandparents are Rick and Leslie Bua of Escalon.
