A boy, Joseph Henry Toscano, was born April 19, 2010 to expectant parents Francisco Toscano, Jr. and Stephanie Toscano of Oakdale. The newborn, who shares his mother’s birthday, weighed nine pounds, four ounces upon arrival at Kaiser Hospital, Modesto.

The mother is the former Stephanie Rizo.

Welcoming the newcomer home was older half sister Victoria Toscano.

Lee and Dorothy Rizo of Oakdale are the maternal grandparents.

Francisco, Sr. and Maria Toscano of Oakland and Lucy Guadarrama of Castro Valley are the paternal grandparents.
