Lynn and Barbara Burroughs are very proud of their son Major Rett Burroughs who was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel United States Army. Rett joined the Army in 1992 and rose through the ranks. Lynn and Barb went to his promotion ceremony in Miami, Florida. Lynn got to pin Rett in the Pinning of Rank ceremony. They had a good visit with grandsons Neal and Nolan and daughter-in-law Justina. In the years Rett was in the Army he amassed a number of awards and decorations, including two Bronze Stars. He will be stationed in Fort Hood, Texas in the 1st Cavalry Division G6.
