Shirley May Trunnell passed away at her daughter’s home last May 5, 2020. She was 88. She grew up in Oakdale and retired from teaching at Cloverland school in 1989. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Trunnell and her husband of 52 years, James Trunnell. Shirley is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Silveira of Modesto, and a brother, Donald Taylor also of Modesto. She leaves behind five grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 5 at 11 a.m. at the Oakdale Calvary Chapel Church, 220 S. Sierra Ave.
