Let’s hear a big round of applause for our Valley Home PTC members who did such a successful job of hosting the Graffiti Back-2-School Night Friday at the school. What a magnificent turn out of parents, students, teachers and staff, community members, family and friends. With the evening being a bit toasty, we saw many people taking advantage of the free Root Beer Floats offered by the PTC. Members were very happy that they had decided to order 5 tubs of ice cream for the event!

A big Thank You to all who brought a vehicle for all to see and enjoy! Congratulations to the winners of the Car Care Bucket prizes, Waffle Factory gift certificates and Valley Home Spirit T-Shirts. PTC also had a table with Hawk apparel for sale and many took the opportunity to purchase items needed for their children. Valley Home PTC members also had free information for the public to take home such as a calendar of events for this school year, Save Mart Shares cards, and Penny Drive & Box Top information.

We are told that if you were unable to purchase apparel or get the above information at the event, you may feel free to pick-up forms at the school or download information from the PTC website at www.vhjsd.k12.ca.us and click on the P/T Club tab to find the forms you need. The group still has their regular E-Mail available for ideas, suggestions and comments at vhptc@sbcglobal.net.

Be sure to mark your calendars for Valley Home PTC’s next fun filled event, the Annual Harvest Festival which will be held on Saturday, October 24th from 1-5 p.m. Club members hope to see everyone there!
