Exposing Misinformation

Dear Editor,

I am writing this letter in response to Larry Podolsky’s Sept. 9, 2026 Letter to the Editor titled, “More Misinformation.” Larry’s letter challenges President Trump’s claim about how there was election fraud during the 2020 election. Larry states Trump’s assertion wasn’t true and goes on and lists 11 prominent Republicans who all informed the President that this wasn’t true. Larry further points out how multiple recounts were performed in six states, Pennsylvania being one of them, stating no evidence of fraud was found in any of them.

Eleven Republicans, 2020 elections, no fraud, including Pennsylvania … Hmm …

According to DOJ records, Matthew Laiss was convicted in Federal Court in March, 2026, for voting twice in the 2020 presidential election. He mailed in a ballot, from Pennsylvania, on October 31, 2020. He voted, in person, in Florida, on November 3, 2020. He was arrested and charged for voter fraud and voting more than once in a federal election. He was convicted for both counts in March 2026. In July, 2026, he was sentenced to three years probation, with the first six months on home confinement, and was fined $6,000.

So, how is it that 11 prominent Republicans made claim to finding no evidence of voter fraud, during the 2020 election, when it took me only one DOJ search to disprove these distinguished men? There’s more: Kim Phuong Taylor, Iowa, was convicted on 52 counts in 2023. Warily Sosa-Sanchez, Colorado, voted in her own name and in her deceased mother’s name. I can go on and on, pointing out the ridiculous number of people who have been convicted for voter fraud.

Larry claims Trump is at it again, spreading misinformation by asserting fraud exists, all the while ignoring the evidence pertaining to voter fraud convictions.

I encourage everyone, who is legally eligible to vote, to vote. But please, one person, one vote!
