Valley Home School board met last Tuesday … it was an exciting time for students and parents at Valley Home. The board and superintendent Price welcomed new second grade teacher Mrs. Nabors. Mrs. Nabors fits right in at Valley Home School, she is positive, very happy, well educated, who we are sure will bring a wonderful learning experience to our Valley Home second graders.

Teachers opened their classrooms last Wednesday evening for Back to School Night. Superintendent Price welcomed a full gym of parents and families! Afterward parents could visit each classroom and talk with individual teachers. The teachers were very gracious with their time and answered all questions parents had. It was an exciting night and it seemed all left with a sense of pride and definitely looking forward to the new school year!

Let’s all make plans to attend the Dardanelle fundraiser for our Valley Home boy Cody Fleischer! As most of you know Cody suffered serious life threatening injuries in a jeep rollover accident several months ago. Since then he has worked hard to regain the ability to walk. We are happy to report his progress is coming along great! Medical bills have been tremendous … please consider a wonderful weekend at the Dardanelles and attend the “fun” fundraiser for Cody.
