Monday, March 6 featured the distribution of some fresh fruits and vegetables, courtesy of Second Harvest Food Bank, and served up at the Center for Human Services in Oakdale. The drive-thru distribution featured staffers at the organization bagging up a variety of produce and delivering the bags curbside. The once-a-month distribution, the first Monday unless it is a holiday, is a partnership with the food bank and this month featured celery, apples, pears and potatoes. About 300 families were served through the distribution.
