OakdaleARTS is presenting the 2026 Small Works Art Show and Fundraiser – an inspiring community event featuring more than 100 original pieces created by local artists and creative youth. The exhibition will feature a special evening reception on Thursday, June 18 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Gallery Custom Framing, 134 N. Third Ave., in Oakdale. The art is on display this week at the Gallery. Sale of the pieces begin at the Thursday evening event.
Earlier this year, OakdaleARTS provided wood panels to artists of all ages, inviting them to create small-format artwork in any medium. The result is a vibrant and diverse display of creativity – each piece a unique reflection of the region’s talent and imagination.
A select group of artworks will be available through silent auction bidding, while all other pieces will be priced at $40 for 8”x8” panels and $20 for youth 6”x6” works. Bidding has already begun on auction pieces, and all donation sales directly support OakdaleARTS’ mission to bring more art, murals, and creative events to the community.
“We’re thrilled by the enthusiasm from both adult and youth artists,” OakdaleARTS officials indicated. “The Small Works Show is a joyful expression of local creativity – and every purchase helps fund future art in Oakdale.”
The reception is free to attend. Following the reception, any unsold artwork will remain on display at the Gallery and available for purchase through Tuesday, June 30.
