The Oakdale Leader, The Riverbank News and The Escalon Times have all received recent letters via e-mail that have not met the criteria for publication. As a reminder to those sending in letters, whether it be through the mail, brought in to the office or via e-mail, you must include your first and last name, city of residence and a contact phone number for verification purposes and so we can follow up if there are any questions regarding the letter. Maximum length is 300 words and it is preferable if the letters are typed. Also, letters for publication in the Wednesday issue have a deadline of the previous Friday at noon. Our newspapers want to publish letters from our readers but submissions must meet the guidelines for use.
