The California Department of Education recently released the percentages of students who scored proficient or above  across the state on 2013 Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) tests.

Knights Ferry School and Oakdale’s Sierra View Elementary School were in the Top 10 in the region for math, and Knights Ferry School was also in the Top 10 for language arts. The region includes Stanislaus, Merced, Tuolumne, Calaveras, Mariposa, and parts of San Joaquin counties. Scores for Oakdale area schools are listed below, numbers are in percentages.

Cloverland Elementary: 57 in English, 71 in Math, 69 in Science.

Fair Oaks Elementary: 60 in English, 68 in Math, 84 in Science.

Magnolia Elementary: 59 in English, 70 in Math, 64 in Science.

Sierra View Elementary: 68 in English, 79 in Math, 89 in Science.

Oakdale Junior High: 54 in English, 45 in Math, 58 in Science, 57 in History.

Oakdale High: 64 in English, 46 in Math, 62 in Science, 59 in History.

Knights Ferry School (K-8): 75 in English, 86 in Math, 40 in Science.

Valley Home School (K-8): 63 in English, 66 in Math, 71 in Science, 33 in History.
