A boy, Xavier Shane Thrasher, was born March 7, 2012 to expectant parents Shane and Mayra Thrasher of Oakdale. The newborn weighed nine pounds, three ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

The mother is the former Mayra Sandoval.

Paula Duran and Thomas Sandoval of Riverbank are the maternal grandparents.
Laurie Thrasher of Valley Home and Troy Thrasher of Oakdale are the paternal grandparents.
