A girl, Luna Mavero Odom, was born Jan. 21, 2012 to expectant parents Star and David Odom of Oakdale. The newborn weighed seven pounds, 14 ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.
The mother is the former Star Sherman.
Welcoming the newcomer home were older siblings Hope, Christian, and Desiree Buckhanan.
Jeff and Sharon Sherman of Oakdale are the maternal grandparents.
Vernon Odom and Julie Gerhardt of Oakdale are the paternal grandparents.
