Jeremiah Adam and Shenah Mendei Groom welcomed the arrival of their daughter, Ashleigh Paige Groom, on September 22, 2009. The newborn weighed seven pounds, four ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

The mother is the former Shenah Higgins.

Welcoming the newcomer home was older sibling Noah Scott Groom.

Mary Higgins of Lake Isabella and the late Mike Higgins are the maternal grandparents.

Danny and Lilly Groom of Oakdale are the paternal grandparents.
