Our 2013 Grand Marshal, Tony Taro, reports having a great time on Friday evening. Christmas in Valley Home brought out much of the community to enjoy a wonderful night filled with lots of fun, friendship, and very good food! A very touching part of the evening came as everyone gathered round the tree and joined together in caroling as Wyatt Wucherer threw the switch that brought our community tree to life. The little tree glistened with lights all aglow, it seemed almost magical…what a special evening! The night was frosty cold outside as the warmth of our school gym welcomed everyone inside for a delicious holiday dinner. Santa and Mrs. Claus topped off the evening by handing out Christmas treats to all.

Our Valley Home School teachers Sandra Moore and Traci Davis report success with our annual Christmas See’s Candy fundraiser.

This Wednesday our students will travel to Oakdale to see the Christmas play put on by the Oakdale High Drama department.

A very special thank you is once again sent to our own Karen Monschein. Karen you are appreciated so very much by all of us here in Valley Home.

Please remember our Valley Home School Christmas Store will be open next week. The hard work of Shelly Carpenter and all her busy elves will make it possible for Valley Home students to shop for family and friends. The gifts will be wrapped and the kids will be able to take their packages home all ready to go under the tree.
