Hi everyone, this week I would like to share the adventures of brothers-in-law Eric Beltrami and Austin Sprague. Eric and Austin took on the 52nd annual high desert rally in Hawthorne, Nevada. The longtime off-road event sent competitors across 121 miles of rugged Nevada desert terrain. Eric and Austin tackled the course together and came home with a third-place finish. They were instrumental in the benefit and awards dinner that followed the rally to raise money to support the club and other off-road organizations.

Please remember to save your gently used clothing for the OES Clothing Drive. The Oakdale Enrichment Society is in their ninth year of providing this amazing event! Clothing drop off will be during the week of August 24th through August 27th from 5pm until 7pm at Gene Bianchi Community Center. This year books are included in the drive; please donate your gently read books and gently used clothing so that others will be able to enjoy. All are welcome to come on Saturday morning, August 29th to the Bianchi Center and take what you and your family can use. It’s a very special morning in Oakdale. Doors open at the Community Center at 9 am and will close at noon. A huge “thank you” to all who make this possible.
