Valley Art Association, City Host Carriage Art Show

Sponsored by the City of Oakdale and Valley Art Association, artwork is being sought now for the 2020 Carriage Art Show. The event will be hosted Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 29 and March 1, with a reception and awards presentation on March 1 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Gene Bianchi Community Center, 110 S. Second Ave., Oakdale.

Artists wishing to participate in the Juried Art Show are asked to contact Vonnie, 209-840-8058 or Marilyn, 209-581-8876 for a prospectus.

Hand delivery of artwork for the show is scheduled on Thursday, Feb. 27 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 28 from 9 a.m. to noon.

The free show will be open to the public on Saturday, Feb. 29 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There is an open division and a novice division; artists can only enter one of the divisions
