Saturday, April 4 marked the 2015 Kids Spring Fest as over 1,000 kids and adults gathered at Kerr Park for a fun day under the sun. The ninth annual event, presented by City of Oakdale and the Kiwanis Club, held four separate egg hunts for kids in varying age groups, up to age 12, along with lunch, games and prize drawings among other activities for both kids and adults.

Recreation Supervisor Linda Royalty was among those in attendance helping out the day’s events by hiding eggs and chaperoning throughout the course of the day.

“This is the ninth year of the event. The kids have a great time and we enjoy it. I would like to thank all of our sponsors and volunteers who help make it happen each year. Without the help of those who do contribute, this event would not be a success,” said Royalty.
