Oakdale community members rallied big contributions to support the Oakdale High Boosters Club Annual Dinner, Dance and Auction on March 5 at the FES Hall.
The event saw an impressive net proceeds of $16,825 to benefit OHS athletics.
“Once again, the Oakdale community rallied to support our club, knowing that many needed OHS team equipment and uniform needs would only be met through the Sports Booster Club’s assistance,” club president Kevin Brunk said. “We are very grateful for the community’s ongoing support of our efforts.”
Building on the success of last year’s banquet, this year’s event co-Chairs Judy Alvey and Lisa MacDonald said they very pleased overall with the event.
Pete Simoncini, the voice of the Mustangs, was honored as the 2011 Sports Booster of the Year.
