The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, June 22 to seek public input on proposed changes to the Stanislaus River Parks master plan.

The master plan guides the management of natural and cultural resources and the development of recreation-related facilities in and around the Corps-managed park near Oakdale and was last updated in 1977.

The public meeting will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Community Center at 110 S. Second Ave. in Oakdale. It will be an open house format, and there will not be a formal opportunity for audience questions or comments.

Anyone interested in helping guide changes to the master plan can respond to the questionnaire until July 25, 2016 to luke.w.burns@usace.army.mil or during the June 22 public meeting.

An agency-focused meeting will be held at the same location the morning of June 22 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The current master plan and questionnaire can be viewed at http://www.spk.usace.army.mil/Locations/SacramentoDistrictParks/StanislausRiverParks.aspx.
