Stanislaus Sheriff’s deputies are looking for an attempted homicide suspect known to frequent Oakdale.

On Sunday, Aug. 23, around 11 p.m., authorities said Jeremy Rodriguez was involved in an argument with a 41-year-old man at the corner of Country Manor Drive and Jackson Avenue in Riverbank. The argument escalated and Rodriguez rammed the man’s vehicle with his 2000 Chevy Astro Van, striking the victim’s driver side door. The victim, who was trying to get out of his vehicle when he was struck, was able to get back into his car and drive away so he could call 911.

The victim suffered severe injuries to one of his legs and was transported to a local hospital. A passenger in his vehicle was also injured.

Rodriguez fled in his vehicle prior to deputies arriving.

Jeremy Rodriguez is wanted for attempted murder and is known to frequent Oakdale and Modesto. He was driving a white 2000 Chevy Astro van with California license plate #6H52686.
