Oakdale Police served a search warrant in the 100 block of South Sixth Ave. on Friday, related to a lewd conduct investigation.

Shortly before 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 27, Oakdale Police Investigators served a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation related to the recent arrest of a man charged with taking inappropriate digital photographs at two local Starbucks locations on June 28 and June 29.

Ramon Palomino-Zepeda, 33, was arrested and charged with multiple violations, including Lewd Photography and Digital Peeping, after allegedly placing a mobile phone in the restroom of Starbucks businesses located at 324 E. “F” St. and 1342 E. “F” St. in Oakdale, for the purposes of taking digital photography of unsuspecting patrons on separate occasions.

Oakdale Police are seeking assistance from any potential witnesses and possible victims who may have visited the two Starbucks locations on June 28 and 29. Police are also reminding patrons of public restrooms to be aware of their surroundings and if they see something unusual to immediately report it.
