Oakdale’s wrestlers hosted a six-team scramble at Oakdale High School this past week. Teams from Tokay, Turlock, Pitman, Yucca Valley and Clovis North hit the gym for a youth wrestling scrimmage. Young wrestlers from the ages of eight up to high schoolers battled it out over the course of two days.

Oakdale High School wrestlers included Jake Ryan, Gabe Martinez, Cody Golding, Colbey Harlan and Ricky Torres. Although no official scores were kept, it was a competitive atmosphere for all involved.

Coaches noted that for those who participated, it was a good workout and a way to keep the wrestlers fit throughout the summer.
