StocktonCon Flies Into Stockton Arena

Celebrating six years of comic and pop culture fun, StocktonCon 2017 arrives later this month for two days of adventure. Fans will pack the Stockton Arena on Saturday, Aug. 19 and Sunday, Aug. 20 dressed as their favorite hero, villain or television personality.

With an impressive list of guest this is shaping up to be one of the most memorable conventions in the Valley’s resent history. StocktonCon will have something for everyone including voiceover actors and actresses, professional wrestlers, actors and actresses from movies and television, stunt doubles, graphic artists and more.

Among the voiceover artists due to appear are Diane Pershing, who lent her voice to Poison Ivy in Batman The Animated Series; Maurice LaMarche who voiced Yosemite Sam, Brain from Pinky and the Brain, Pepe Le Pew and Popeye. Legendary voiceover and actor Alan Oppenheimer will also be in attendance for both days. Oppenheimer provided his voice for Mighty Mouse, The Smurfs, and Transformers. He might be remembered most for playing Skeletor in He-Man and Masters of the Universe. He was also the narrator in the Never Ending Story.

Actor and stunt double Ernie Reyes Jr. will be featured both days. He played Keno in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Two: Secret of the Ooze in 1991. He has also appeared in Rush Hour 2, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Wrestling fans will see Hurricane Helms, Rey Mysterio Jr. and John Morrison.
